Fly to Venice Marco Polo. A boat does the rest.
Venice Marco Polo (VCE) has its own water-taxi dock, ten minutes on foot from arrivals, with a direct boat to the island in about 35 minutes. Treviso (TSF) adds a 40-minute bus to Piazzale Roma.

Blue line to San Marco, about €15 · then the free hotel boat
Venezia Santa Lucia is the station on the island city. Vaporetto line 2 to San Marco Giardinetti, about 30 minutes, then the free hotel boat. Milan is 2 h 25 away, Rome 3 h 45.
Cars stop at Piazzale Roma or the Tronchetto garage, €30 to €40 a day. Vaporetto and hotel boat take about 45 minutes from there.
Free, every 30 minutes from San Marco Giardinetti, 08:00 to 01:00, about 20 minutes. On Friday night the Masquerade has its own water taxis: from the island at 19:15, back every 30 minutes from 23:30.
